Concerts
Free Public Miniconcerts
A series of informal public concerts is held daily, Monday to Friday at 4:oo p.m. during the workshop week. The public at large is welcome to these admission free performances sponsored in part by the Music Performance Fund. Ample parking is available on site.
The concerts are held at Ruth Ke‘elikōlani Performing Arts Complex, Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Campus (map). Enter campus at the main gate. A detailed map of the campus is available here: map_ks-kapalama. The campus is quite large, therefore please allow several minutes to drive from the main gate to Performing Arts.

François Rabbath in Recital
François Rabbath, contrabass; Sylvain Rabbath, piano. The legendary contrabass virtuoso will perform a program of works from the classical repertoire, works composed for him, and his own compositions. Tickets $25/general, $15 students.

New Music for Contrabass – Mark Dresser and Ensemble Terra Nova in Concert
Pre-eminent composer-performer will present works from the avant garde contrabass repertoire. Special guests Ben Taylor and Ensemble Terra Nova will premiere a new work for contrabass, percussion and voice. Tickets $25/general, $15/students. Food and drink available for purchase. Free valet parking.

Mae Zenke Orvis Auditorium, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (map)
Victor Wooten in Concert
A rare solo appearance by this master of bass technique and styles. Tickets $25/general, $15/students. Fee for on campus parking. Street parking where permitted on University Avenue and Dole Street.
